Verde Restaurant has an old school but chic European charm about it with original photos of Antonio’s parents and family taken of their youth in Calabria together with a pinch of sass being situated in one of Sydney’s trendiest areas. Besides the innovative Italian cuisine, the most arresting aspect of Verde Restaurant is the warmth and service you receive from our friendly staff not to mention the aroma of mouth watering Italian food evolving from the busy kitchen. At night, with its dimly lit interior and soft music playing in the background, you get the best of both worlds, traditional service and attention and food with a contemporary flair. Upstairs dining
Eating at Verde Restaurant is an intimate and unforgettable dining experience. We pride ourselves on giving you beautiful Southern Italian cuisine in a friendly and timeless environment.
Our upstairs dining area can cater for functions of up to 45 guests for an a-la-carte sit down dinner or a function of 80 people for a stand up cocktail canape function.
This area is equipped with audio visual facilities allowing for iPod connectivity, DJ’s, plasma screens and microphones.
A minimum spend applies for exclusive use of our Main Dining area and may change seasonally.
Private dining room
The Private Dining Room is one with a difference, an opulent dining space with its dark wood and contemporary feel complimented by the exquisite bottles of wine on display. Featuring elaborate lighting, one large central dining table and vintage posters, this room is a unique and elegant space. It is the opportunity to enjoy a family celebration, a boardroom lunch or an intimate gathering which can accommodate up to 18 people in a beautiful a la carte setting. It is equipped and serviced to provide smaller groups with a private dining experience for that special occasion or corporate meeting. The room is fully fitted with audio visual and presentation equipment making it the perfect setting for corporate meetings and special entertainment requirements. Personal music via the use of your own iPod and wireless internet connections for your presentations are available at no additional charge. It can also be transformed into an intimate lounge room which can accommodate up to 20 people for a canapé/banquet style function.

Bar
The Lounge Bar situated on the first floor is best utilised for cocktail and canapé style events and caters for up to 80 people. Wide choices of specialty dishes are available. We can tailor a special menu to suit your style of event. We can also accommodate up to 46 people for a sit down intimate dinner. Eclectic, warm and decadent the Lounge Bar is the perfect place to host a private party or corporate celebration. Decked out with a glamorous marble bar, surrounded by dark wood, wrought iron and vintage posters it is elegant and contemporary. The ambience of this space at sundown, surrounded by candlelight, is eccentric and alluring. Exclusive use of our Lounge Bar is available, on request, excluding the private booth.
Our Lounge Bar is equipped with audio visual facilities allowing for iPod connectivity, DJ’s and plasma screens. The separate Bar area is a sumptuous venue for stand-up canapés and cocktails, for pre-dinner or pre-show drinks or to just unwind and enjoy drinks with friends. You might want to book the Private Booth for a more intimate setting. Our professional staff will deliver the most impeccable service to ensure your event is stress free, flawless and, most importantly, an enjoyable experience.
