Located in East Sydneys iconic ‘Little Italy’, Verde is a stunning, heritage listed Victorian building. The internal styling is minimal but tasteful, with a unique collection of original vintage posters, as well as a selection of black and white family photographs taken in Calabria.

 

The upper level of this beautifully designed building, features a marble bar and lounge with private rooms for the entertainment of guests or an 

intimate gathering. What started as a fine dining restaurant 6 years ago is now a home style Southern Italian restaurant, led by owner and head chef, Antonio Ruggerino. The restaurant boasts an authentic Calabrian ambience, reinforced by Antonio's desire to serve family recipes that have survived generations, "Why should you mess with the flavours of a dish that are already perfect?" Antonio claims.

 

Antonio often steps out of the kitchen to greet guests, wait tables and welcome patrons to his “home away from home”, he ensures a memorable dining experience based on warmth and impeccable service.

 

Verde is a place built on tradition, values and quality southern Italian cuisine. Knowledge, culture and passion only add to Antonio's vision of creating a unique dining experience that can be shared with friends, family and colleagues.

BYO Monday-Thursday $9 per bottle corkage, BYO wine only (No Sparkling or Champagne), BYO not allowed for groups of 10 or more + a group of 10+ a service charge of 7.5% will be charge to your bill. All payments $1000.00 + will incur a surcharge. of 2%
